Surprise!!!

Hi, kids!

Before I go to Guimarães for the English teachers conference tomorrow morning, here's a surprise for you: your drawings on the Internet!

Click here and then click Play Slideshow.

Don't forget to read the comments from my teacher friends. They're great!

Have a nice week and behave very well!

Hugs from your English teacher

Carnival photo

Hi, kids!

Here's a very cute photo that a teacher in our school took of 5C with the Carnival masks they created in EVT (Visual and Technological Education). I love this photo! It's great to have a digital camera with you all the time for these special moments.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, kids!

Hope you eat lots of yummy chocolate eggs and sugar-coated almonds, but don't get a tummy ache (= dor de barriga)!

Here's a very nice Easter rhyme that Tommy, a dear young Polish friend, sent me (= me mandou) last year!

Five little rabbits

Five little rabbits
On Easter Day
One finds an egg
And runs away

Four little rabbits
On Easter Day
One finds an egg
And runs away

Three little rabbits
On Easter Day
One finds an egg
And runs away

Two little rabbits
On Easter Day
One finds an egg
And runs away

One little rabbit
On Easter Day
Says 'Come back, rabbits'
'Come and play!'

Is there a volunteer to record it?

See you all next Tuesday! Enjoy these last two days!!

Hugs from your teacher

Another video

Hi, kids!

This time it's a video about Little Red Riding Hood -- what's that?! don't ask me! you discover what it is!!!    -- acted by (= representado por) 3rd and 4th grade students (10-11 years old, like you) from Tajikistan. There is also the story.

A dear colleague of mine, Ibrahim, sent it (= mandou-o) as an Easter present. I loved it. I hope you do too!

To learn Geography, try to find where Tajikistan is (what continent) and the capital of this country. There is a prize for the first correct answer.

Happy Easter!

The "Have got" song

Hi, kids!

Yesterday morning in class four students from 5D - Cláudio, Diana, Gonçalo, Ricardo (the smaller) - sang (= cantaram) the "Have Got" song. They learned it in 4th grade. Here it is! Enjoy!

I've got a small, white mouse

And a big, black cat.

I've got a fat, orange fish.

She's called Pat.

I've got a big, grey rabbit

I've got a long, green snake.

I've got a big, green bird.

He's called Jake.

Have a wonderful Easter vacation (= férias de Páscoa)! Eat lots of chocolate eggs and almonds!
