Summer messages

Dear kids,

Today was (= foi) our last day of school. It was a great year with wonderful moments! Thank you!!

Francisco and André N. (5. D) created a summer song at my request (= a meu pedido). Here is Francisco's latest hit (= êxito mais recente), Holidays!!!

Have a wonderful summer at the beach and don't forget to stay in touch (= não se esqueçam de se manter em contacto) with me.

Kids, your Art Gallery is now complete (3Jul) with the drawings from the last week of school: Fifty-one beautiful and very colorful drawings! Congratulations! You're very creative and great artists!!!

My daily routine

Hi, kids!

Universal Children's Day

Hi, kids!

In Portugal we celebrate Universal Children's Day on June 1st. This was decreed  (= foi decretado) by the United Nations Resolution 836 (IX) on 14 December 1954 that recommends that "all countries institute a Universal Children's Day, to be observed as a day of worldwide fraternity and understanding between children".

To celebrate this day with my three classes and congratulate my students on their work in our two blogs, I have a Certificate of Appreciation for you all. (Click the image for a bigger certificate.) You're doing marvellous work and are very enthusiastic! Thank you!!!
