Hi, kids!
I'm back after 10 wonderful days in Vancouver, British Columbia (BC), Canada, and in Seattle, Washington (WA), USA, at the 41st Annual TESOL Convention.
I had a great time working and having lots of fun, and I'm "crazier" than ever, as you can see in the photo below.
Do you like my new glasses? I bought them (= comprei-os) in Vancouver. They were very "in"!
Tomorrow I will post more photos and text.
Enjoy your Easter break!
Hugs
Vancouver, BC, Canada (16-19Mar07)
It was love at first sight. What a beautiful and charming city! I hope you enjoy these photos.

(Letter from 6.C)
Dear kids,
I just finished my third and last presentation. It was great and we had lots of people.
I have been with many of my online colleagues and it has been a very "special" time for me. Last night we had a dinner party with 24 of those friends and I got a "very special" present from my dear friend Leanne Mackenzie. I will show it to you in class after the holidays.
I was in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, before coming to Seattle. It's a beautiful city. Seattle is also nice, but Vancouver has a special place in my heart.
I love all your messages. Please send more!!! :-)
Lots of hugs and beijinhos
Hi, kids!
A class from a twin school, Escola de Santo António in Funchal, Madeira, has sent you a message. They are students of a friend of mine.
It's comment #13 in the Mar 3 post (right below). Here it is:
Your blog is very cute!
We can see that you like your teacher very much.
Funny, we are twin schools and of the same grade!!!
Don`t forget to visit our blog (-->)and to post comments there too.
See you :):):)

Please leave some nice comments for them "here" in English, but first, please visit their blog. It's in Portuguese. Enjoy!
Hi, kids!
This morning I gave a presentation (= fiz uma apresentação) about our two blogs, Have Fun with English! 2 and CALL Lessons. It was in Escola Superior de Educação de Setúbal for 120 teachers. My colleagues liked our work very much and were impressed with what you do.
There were two other teachers called Teresa who gave presentations about their blogs. The title was Weblogs na educação: 3 experiências, 3 testemunhos (click on this title at the bottom of the page, if necessary). It was a very interesting morning.
Have a nice Sunday!
Here is my double (= sósia) given to me right before the session started by Conceição Brito, a dear friend and one of the organizers of the event. I loved it at once - love at first sight! - and took it with me when my presentation started to show the audience how much we resemble each other (= como somos parecidas): color of hair, hairdo (= penteado) and the dress!!! She was my "good luck charm"!
Click here for a bigger photo. It's worth it!
And here are a couple of photos (published with permission from my friends at ESE de Setúbal): me presenting; Prof. Albertina Palma commenting on my presentation and article; and me with my husband listening to another presentation.
