Hi, kids!
This morning 6.E and I had a "very special" Halloween celebration. Professora Maria José Lampreia and 6.H came to (= vieram) our CALL lesson 2 and joined our Halloween fun! There were 50 students in Sala TIC and they all behaved (= portaram-se) brilliantly and participated very enthusiastically in all the activities. One of them was dressed up (= estava mascarada) as a vampire. Yes, we had a vampire in class! Wow!!!
They all sent Ramona a voice message (double-click 6E and 6H in the orange "My Voicemail" rectangle on the right). And before the end of class they all carved/made their virtual pumpkin. These Halloween pumpkins are called "Jack-O-Lanterns". Here it is!

When 6.H left (= saíram) the classroom, they all smiled and said "Thank you!" to me. Now it's my turn (= é a minha vez) to say "thank you" to 6.H and to my colleague Maria José for a great idea, and to welcome them to our blogs. Please send your comments! Don't forget to write only (= apenas) your first name and your class. Enjoy our activities!
Yesterday 6.C and 6.D had the same Halloween lesson. Listen to their voice messages to Ramona (double-click 6.C and 6.D in the orange "My Voicemail" rectangle on the right). And here are the "Jack-O-Lanterns" that they carved.

I hope you will come back to this page and continue doing Halloween activities online or go to CALL lesson 2 and do the same.
Thank you all for a memorable (= inesquecível) Halloween!!!!
Here's a surprise that was sent on Halloween, but I only saw it (= só o vi) in my Yahoo mail this afternoon (2Nov). It's a very cool and crazy Halloween e-card from an English teacher-friend in Venezuela, Doris Molero. What a sweet and fun idea, Doris! Thank you!!!
Hi again, kids! Still another surprise!
Carla Arena, our Brazilian teacher-friend, had problems with Comments in our blog at Halloween - probably too many witches flying in cyberspace!!! -, so she sent me this message for you and three pictures. Please click on the thumbnails (little pics below) to see the big photos.
The photos are great, aren't they? Carla knows how to "have fun"!!!
