And the winner is....

And the winner of the international Edublog Awards in the category of Best Teacher Blog 2006 is... Have Fun with English! 2!!! Please click the image above to see a list of all the winners.

I feel very honored with this award, as I said in the synchronous (= live) awards ceremony earlier today, and extremely happy for my students, my collaborators and... myself, of course.

Congratulations, kids! You are doing a wonderful job that has just been recognized (= acabou de ser reconhecida) all over the world!

Congratulations also to all my friends and colleagues worldwide who regularly collaborate with us!

Finally, congratulations to all 2006 nominees and winners!

And... a big "thank you" to all those who voted for us, because they felt that our work deserved it! And to Josie Fraser and the Edublog Awards team!

What a "very special" Christmas present!

Now, kids, it's time to continue our great work! I'll include some Christmas activities very soon. Hope you enjoy them. And keep (= continue) sending your comments. And your parents too!

Merry Christmas, everyone, and best wishes for 2007!

Your radical teacher

VIP: Please identify yourselves in your messages (it's a policy between my students and me) and say where you are in the world to give the students an idea of how far we reach. Thank you!

Here's the podcast of the live and synchronous Awards Ceremony last Sunday, Dec. 17!

Congratulations, Teresa!!

What a great honor for a great teacher!!

I found it a bit strange, though, that you described yourself simply as a middle school teacher, when to me you are a world teacher!!

Thank you for inspiring us all!

Dear Webhead friends Sharon, Tom, Rosa, Cristina, Bee, Buth, Dennis and Ana Maria,
It feels so good to have your very special words of congratulations. This is part of what makes our fantastic Webhead community so unique!
I'm very proud, Sharon, and no doubt my students will be, too, as they get the great news.
Tom, I don't think I ever thought of myself as a world teacher, but I like it! :-)
"Thank you" all on behalf of my students who deserve the biggest chunk of the credit, together with our dear and regular Webhead collaborators and fans. I'm very happy for you all and myself, of course.
I'm doubly happy that our work is an inspiration.
This was a fa-bu-lous Christmas present!
Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy 2007, everyone!
Hugs all, Teresa

Thank you for coming back and identifying yourself.
Thanks to your blog - I like the title and content!- I got hold of the awards ceremony podcast and am listening to it. And I also got hold of the survey results. Interesting! How did you get them, Graham? Are they published somewhere?
Happy blogging!

Congratulations on your award!
This is my first encounter with blogs. Looking at what you have done, I can begin to see how I could have used one in my college classes. I am now retired but may get into blogging sometime soon.

Hi, Graham!
It's great to have another colleague in Adelaide? Do you know Michael Coghlan? He's a dear friend and Webhead, and the first person I've ever met from Adelaide.
I'll also be following your blog, Graham!
Best, Teresa
